An ethical approach to silk

We have a special affinity for silk, its natural beauty and the extraordinary benefits it provides for our hair and skin. Strictly using pre-loved silk allows for a more ethical approach, making the most of what’s already available on this earth and not harming any more silkworms in the process.

All of our offcuts and unused pieces of fabric, plus zippers and buttons, etc. are saved for future items. We aim for as close to zero waste as possible.
Sustainability doesn’t stop at the product, packaging is important too.
New Zealand born company **Noissue** creates our labels, our beautiful branded tissue paper & stickers, and our compostable mailer bags.
Queensland based company **Ecoprint** makes our 100% recycled and recyclable thank you cards.
The beautiful thing is, both companies plant trees for every order we place!

Our point of difference

What sets us apart are the unique fabrics we use. We romanticize each piece and dream of its past life; who wore it, and what were they like? As each fabric comes from one pre-loved piece of clothing, our designs are extremely limited.
